Bixter Training offers candidates an opportunity to gain experience in their field by offering various traineeships and internships in Europe. This incredible internship offers candidates an opportunity to practice skills, learn new techniques, obtain perspective of a work environment, and have the benefits of training with mentors. This training program is set up to build the candidates knowledge, skills, and experience, with the aim of these candidates going back to their home countries to become leaders in their fields, by implementing what they have learnt abroad into the local work environment. Apart from developing their professional skills, candidates will experience personal growth, cultural awareness, foreign language skills, expanding professional and personal networks, enjoy travel opportunities and obtain better career prospects.

  • The Denmark agricultural program offers candidates vocational training on dairy, pig, and poultry farms as well as greenhouses.
  • Candidates will be responsible for feeding and taking care of the pigs, feeding and milking of the cows and taking care of the chickens and collecting of eggs.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

  • Duration of course: 18 months
  • Paid vacation: 5 weeks per year
  • Work hours: minimum of 37 hours per week, Overtime working hours are paid accordingly
  • Accommodation is provided at a monthly rent
  • Free Danish insurance

REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES

  • Age: 18 – 29
  • Must have English or German as a foreign language
  • English must be confirmed with an internationally recognized certificate: KET (minimum score of 120) or IELTS (minimum score of 3.0)
  • Must be a current student enrolled at an agricultural tertiary institution
  • Have a valid international passport
  • Driver’s license (car category) will be an advantage

REMUNERATION

DAIRY, POULTRY & PIG FARMS:

  • First 6 months: €1,587
  • Following 12 months: €1,841 - €2,132
  • Overtime hours paid according to contract

GREENHOUSES:

  • First 6 months: €1,452
  • Following 12 months: €1,682 - €2,006
  • Overtime hours paid according to contract

CANDIDATES FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS

ONE -TIME EXPENSES

  • Bixter services: €600
  • Visa: €630
  • Embassy fee: €230
  • Brandbox fees: €500
  • Travel expenses (flights)
  • Pocket money

This traineeship requires the candidate to pay for the program, however the candidate is awarded a salary during the 18 months of the course. Candidates can earn their expenses back within 4 months!!!
